Boccafosca (Marche) 

In the high hills of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico zone, Boccafosca is starting to get noticed. Long a provider of grapes and wines to its more famous neighbors, Zenobia Sassaroli and her family have now embarked on a quest to make a name for themselves as a premium wine producer in the Marche. With the assistance of renowned enologist, Aroldo Bellelli, their prized vineyard holdings -- some of the best in Verdicchio's Classico zone -- and with investment in new wine making facilities, the future is very bright for Boccafosca. 

Boccafosca has vineyard holdings planted across unique and varying microclimates, allowing Boccafosca to produce a variety of wines. While best known for its classic Verdicchio wines, Boccafosca also makes delicious Rosso Piceno as well as Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. All are pure, distinct, fresh, lively and textbook examples of the Marche's quality and diversity.
