Madonnabruna (Marche)
Situated only 4 kilometers from the Adriatic in the southern part of the Marche, the views from the Madonnabruna estate are stunning. From almost every part of the estate, you’re treated to rolling green hills with the sparkling Adriatic in the distance. This is a beautiful estate cared for lovingly by the Petracci family.
Paolo Petracci heads the estate today and is committed to sustainable agriculture. This is a true working farm with vineyards sharing space with other fruits and grains. This form of integrated agriculture is meant to reduce the environmental impact on the land and sustain healthy land management. In this part of the Marche, Pecorino and Passerina are the star white wines, while Rosso Piceno (Montepulciano-Sangiovese blend) is the star red. In addition to these traditional wines, Paolo has planted some Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot which he uses to blend with Montepulciano to make some truly special and age-worthy reds. The Petracci family has been farming in the Marche for over 300 years. Their commitment to their land and the region is unsurpassed. To taste Paolo’s wines, please contact us. |
