Salomon Undhof (Kremstal)

Salomon Undhof has been making some of Austria's greatest wines for some time. This renowned estate dates back 226 years in the Kremstal DAC, about 1 hour outside of Vienna on the Danube River. Today, the estate is run by Bertold (Bert) Salomon and his family and they are tremendous ambassadors of their wines and their region.

Salomon Undhof is blessed to have some of the best terraced vineyards in Krems, including some Erste Lage or 1st Growth vineyards.  It's here where they produce their classic Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. Whether tasting their entry-level wines or their reserve wines, Salomon Undhof wines show impeccable balance and grace. The wines are clean and focused with prominent fruit and mineral notes. Perhaps most importantly, they always show great tension and precision which sets them apart and makes them so pleasurable to drink.
